About
A provisional portrait of the work, principles and experiences that currently shape how I move through the world.

A big part of my working life now is violence prevention. I train relational security teams to recognize escalation, de-escalate where possible, make sound decisions under pressure and respond more safely when a situation becomes physical. I’m now a JIBC-certified Advanced Security Training (AST) instructor. Independent Training & Facilitation may grow from that experience, but I’m not presenting course enrolment through this site.
Earlier, I also worked on hearing-protection and situational-awareness technology. I’m named as one of three inventors on a U.S. patent granted in 2023 (US11722813B2).
